Although you can install mods manually, its much more practical to use a manager like this one. Its latest version is still in open beta so, despite some bugs that might rarely appear, its a consistent, reliable and easy program to use. Then you enable the mod just like any you downloaded directly from Nexus. Nexus Mod Manager (NMM) is free, open source and its based under the GNU General Public License. Click okay and it should be added to your list (most LL mods will turn up in 'Unassigned' category if you have category view enabled). Click the '+' icon and find the downloaded mod file. Mod authors generally offer information in mod descriptions on the Nexus should their files require to be configured in a set order, and there are even tools available that can check to see if there are any problems with your setup.Äownload and install LOOT, which we strongly recommend you run each and every time you edit your load order or install/remove a mod. Download the mod you want, open NMM, go to the 'mods' tab of NMMs main pane. This list is important because some mods and files need to be loaded by the game in a specific order. The name of the mod will appear on an icon in the Mod Manager. To enable a mod: From the pre-game Options window, select the Mod Manager tab. Once you have a few mods downloaded you may notice the load order start to populate. Once you have installed a mod, either by subscribing to it in the Steam Workshop or by installing it manually, you must enable it using the Mod Manager before it will appear in the game.
